Terms of Service

Last updated: October 26, 2026

The short version

  • You pay once and get 12 months of access. It's not a subscription, and nothing renews.
  • Not happy? Ask within 14 days for a full refund.
  • Potty Plan is general guidance for parents, not medical advice. You stay in charge of your child's care and safety.
  • Your access is for your own family. Share the plan with your partner or caregivers in the app, but not outside your family.

1. Who we are

Potty Plan (the app at pottyplan.com) is run by Twan Eikelboom, Zuider Parallelweg 26, 6882 AE Velp, the Netherlands ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@pottyplan.com.

These terms apply when you buy or use Potty Plan. By buying or using it, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 years old to buy Potty Plan.

2. What you get

Potty Plan is a web app for parents who are potty training a toddler. It includes a readiness quiz, a day-by-day plan, a log, reminders, a troubleshooter, sticker rewards and printables. You open it in your browser or add it to your phone's home screen. No app store is needed.

Sharing the plan with your partner, grandparents or a nanny on their own phones is included. They don't need to buy anything.

Add-ons (for example Dry Nights or the Potty Storybook) are sold separately. Each one is described on its own sales page.

3. Price, payment and access

  • One-time payment. The price is shown at checkout. You pay once. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
  • 12 months of access. Your access starts on the day you buy and lasts 12 months. Add-ons give access for the period shown on their sales page. When your access ends, the app tells you, and you can no longer use the paid features.
  • Payments through Whop. We sell through Whop, which handles checkout, payment and your account. Whop's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment. Where Whop collects sales tax or VAT, it is included in or added to the price at checkout.
  • Signing in. You sign in to the app with your Whop account. Keep your login to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else is using it.

4. Refunds and your right of withdrawal

You can get a full refund within 14 days of buying, for any reason. If you live in the EU or UK, this also covers your legal 14-day right of withdrawal, even after you have started using the app. Our Refund Policy explains how it works, and it is part of these terms.

5. Not medical advice

Potty Plan gives general information based on public guidance, such as that of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the UK's National Health Service (NHS). It is not medical advice, and it does not replace the advice of a doctor, pediatrician, nurse or other health professional who knows your child.

  • Every child is different. You decide what is right for your child, and you can stop or pause at any time.
  • Talk to your child's doctor if you have any concern about your child's health, development, bladder or bowels. Examples are pain when peeing or pooping, blood in pee or poop, ongoing constipation, a fever, or a child who was dry and suddenly isn't.
  • In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
  • Always supervise your child on the potty, the toilet and any step stool. Follow the safety instructions of the products you use.

6. No guaranteed result

Most families find the plan helpful, but every child learns at their own pace. We can't promise that your child will be potty trained in a certain number of days, or at all. If the plan isn't working for you, our 14-day money-back guarantee is there for you.

7. Using Potty Plan fairly

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Potty Plan for your own family during your access period. Please don't:

  • share your login or pairing code outside your family, or resell or give away access to the app;
  • copy, publish or sell the app's content, such as the plan, the troubleshooter answers, the stickers or the printables, except for printing the printables for your own family, your child's daycare or caregivers;
  • try to get around the sign-in or access period, or interfere with how the app works.

All content, design and code in Potty Plan belong to us or our licensors. If you break these rules in a serious way, we may end your access. If we do, we'll tell you why.

8. Your data

The plan, log and other details you enter are stored on your own device. If you share the plan, an end-to-end encrypted copy passes through our servers so your phones stay in sync; we can't read it. Our Privacy Policy explains what little data we do process and why. Everyone you share the plan with can see and change it. If you don't share it, clearing your browser data or losing your phone can delete it, and we can't restore it for you.

9. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Potty Plan running well, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve the app, add features or change content over time. We won't take away the main features you paid for during your access period.

The app needs an up-to-date browser. Reminders use push notifications, which depend on your phone, browser and settings, so we can't guarantee that every reminder arrives on time. Please don't rely on reminders for anything safety-critical.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, for example for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your rights as a consumer.

Apart from that, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we'll let you know in the app before it takes effect. Changes never take away rights you already have for a purchase you already made.

12. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in the courts of that country.

If you have a complaint, please email us first at support@pottyplan.com. We answer within 14 days and will do our best to solve it.
